For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer II, Fullstack (App Experience) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will help build and enhance customer-facing web and mobile experiences that support a broader financial services product. The engineer will partner closely with product, design, and analytics to deliver scalable features, improve the application experience, and contribute to operational reliability. In addition to shipping clean, maintainable code, this person will support cross-functional execution and help the team learn and iterate quickly.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $133,000 – $183,000 annually
Responsibilities
Break down larger projects into tasks and help ensure timely delivery
Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics throughout the product lifecycle
Monitor metrics and support operational tasks, including on-call responsibilities
Participate in team development activities, such as interviewing candidates
Support peers and stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration
Qualifications
1.5+ years of software engineering experience
Proficiency in building web applications using React or Vue
Experience in mobile app development using React Native or similar
Skilled in designing and launching scalable APIs with Kotlin or Python
Ability to break down complex problems into manageable solutions with clean code
Strong debugging skills and code review experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration
