About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Distinguished AI Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will help shape and advance AI capabilities that support innovative financial products and internal engineering platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to design scalable solutions, influence technical direction, and help deliver high-impact outcomes across the organization. The position is suited for a senior technical leader who can architect complex AI systems and guide others toward strong execution.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $244,700 – $279,200 annually

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-enhanced products

Design, develop, and support AI software components

Utilize a variety of open-source and SaaS AI technologies

Innovate state-of-the-art optimization techniques for AI systems

Contribute to the technical vision and roadmap for foundational AI systems

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with extensive AI and ML experience

8 years of programming experience in Python, Go, Scala, or Java

Proven experience deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud

Strong background in architecting and supporting complex AI systems

Ability to lead and influence engineering teams and stakeholders up to VP level
