About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer 4 - Android to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space.
This role will focus on designing and delivering Android experiences that support a large-scale consumer entertainment platform. The engineer will partner closely with product and cross-functional teams to scope work, build reliable infrastructure, and ship impactful features. The position also calls for strong technical execution across modern Android development practices, with an emphasis on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $250,000 – $413,000 annually
Responsibilities
Design, build, and ship Android features and infrastructure
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code with automated testing
Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to scope work
Stay updated on modern Android tooling and practices
Utilize GenAI tools to enhance development efficiency
Maintain proactive communication with team and stakeholders
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in Android development
Proficiency in Kotlin and familiarity with GraphQL
Experience with modern Android stacks such as Jetpack Compose and Coroutines
Demonstrated track record of shipping impactful features
Ability to navigate and learn new frameworks quickly
Strong communication and project management skills
