About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer II - Agentic Intelligence to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This role will focus on designing and delivering production-grade agent systems that operate on live observability data in a fast-moving technical environment. You will own work from scoping through shipping, help shape future capabilities, and partner closely with product and engineering teams to define what great agent performance looks like. The position calls for someone who can combine strong AI engineering judgment with reliability-minded execution and a practical view of what is ready for production.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $183,340 – $206,000 annually

Responsibilities

Design and deliver production-grade agents that handle live observability data

Own the complete lifecycle of agent work from scoping to shipping

Leverage the company's data capabilities to build high-impact agents

Extend capabilities within the company's analytics platform and advocate for future enhancements

Define quality metrics for agents based on measurable evaluations

Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in AI and agent engineering with production reliability

Demonstrated ability to oversee projects from prototype to production-grade

Current understanding of design changes in agent systems from the last year

Deep knowledge of agent architecture in high-cardinality data environments

Strong product judgment to envision future capabilities for agents
