For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.
This role will drive the design and development of scalable software that supports marketplace efficiency and operational performance in a fast-moving healthcare environment. You will partner closely with Product, Data, and other cross-functional stakeholders to shape technical strategy, solve complex system challenges, and deliver measurable business outcomes. The position blends hands-on engineering with technical leadership, including mentoring and guiding initiatives from design through post-launch support.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annually
Responsibilities
Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance marketplace efficiency
Design and develop scalable systems addressing marketplace issues
Drive technical strategy and mentor junior engineers
Implement hands-on software development alongside leadership tasks
Align technical solutions with business needs and objectives
Qualifications
8+ years of software engineering experience with scalable distributed systems
Proven experience leading technical initiatives and influencing strategy
Skilled in designing backend services, APIs, and data-heavy systems, preferably AWS
Strong history of effective collaboration with Product and Data teams
Problem-solving expertise in marketplace and operational challenges with measurable results
Exceptional communication skills to unite diverse stakeholder perspectives
Ability to manage projects from design to post-launch support
