Reflex Sales Group is a global B2B excess inventory company helping consumer brands move inventory through a large network of retailers, distributors, and alternative sales channels.

With 15+ years of proprietary data, relationships, and transaction history, we’re now building the AI and technology layer behind our business.

The Role

We’re looking for an Applied AI Engineer who loves to build.

You’ll work directly with leadership, sales, and operations to identify business problems and turn them into AI-powered applications, automations, agents, and workflows.

This isn’t an AI research or data science role. We’re looking for a software engineer who is highly comfortable using modern AI tools to build and ship real solutions quickly.

What You’ll Build

AI-powered internal tools for sales and operations

End-to-end automations that replace repetitive manual work

AI agents and multi-step workflows

Tools that help match inventory opportunities with buyers

Sales intelligence using Reflex’s proprietary data

Integrations across CRM, email, accounting, inventory, and other systems

Search and knowledge tools that make company data easier to use

You’ll work closely with the people using what you build, ship quickly, and improve your work based on real-world feedback.

What We’re Looking For

1–3+ years of software engineering or relevant hands-on development experience

Strong Python and modern application development skills

Experience building with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar

Highly comfortable with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar

Experience with APIs, webhooks, SQL, and databases

Exposure to AI agents, RAG/search, or workflow automation

Ability to build practical applications and connect different systems

Curious, resourceful, and comfortable figuring out problems you haven’t seen before

Experience with Airtable, n8n, Make, Zapier, CRM/ERP systems, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, retail, e-commerce, inventory, or logistics is a plus — not a requirement.

Workplace & Work Authorization

This is a full-time, in-office position in Calabasas, California, five days per week.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Reflex Sales Group does not provide employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
