As a PTMS/Propulsion Software Engineer Sr you will be responsible for support of PTMS and Propulsion through its entire lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:
Develop functional and physical architecture definitions
Develop and maintain detailed software requirements for PTMS and Propulsion.
Develop and test required hardware/software integration tests within a lab environment.
Develop models of the system in order to test software fixes with real aircraft data
Collaborate with cross functional engineers to troubleshoot systemic issues as well as aircraft faults.
Query fleet data and use data analytics to establish system level requirements based on fleet utilization.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related STEM discipline
Experience with MATLAB/Simulink scripting and modeling
Experience with C, C++, C# or a related language
Experience with software requirements development
Experience with software/hardware integration and testing
Desired Skills
Active Secret Government Security Clearance
Experience with Agile methodologies
Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and team-based environment
Experience with Jira, Git, GitLab, and CI/CD concepts
Experience with Visual Studio
Knowledge of embedded computer architectures and hardware
Experience with SIMON test development environments
Problem solving software and hardware issues, inquisitive, analytical, detail-oriented, problem-solver

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $98100.00 - $182100.00

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
