Software Engineer – Full Stack Java
Overview / Summary
We are seeking a Software Engineer to support full-cycle systems development, including software design, development, deployment, integration, and systems testing. The role requires hands-on experience with full-stack Java technologies, Angular, Spring Boot, REST APIs, cloud development, and MLOps.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, deploy, and enhance software systems.
Participate in integration and systems testing.
Develop across front-end, back-end, and database query layers.
Support integration planning and deliverables, including web services and APIs.
Integrate platforms using REST APIs, including API design, consumption, authentication, data exchange, and integration troubleshooting.
Work across the MLOps lifecycle, including data extraction, analysis, model training, deployment, and retraining.
Support the formulation of new use cases based on business understanding.
Manage Git/GitHub code merges and resolve merge conflicts.
Support application containerization using Docker/Kubernetes.
Create pipelines using Jenkins/Tekton.
Develop on GCP and integrate GCS, BigQuery, and Dataflow into existing workflows.
Support infrastructure configuration through CI/CD pipelines using Terraform.
Work effectively in a cross-functional global team environment.
Deliver product roadmap milestones.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
3+ years of progressive IT experience.
At least 2 years of experience with Angular and Spring Boot.
Hands-on experience with full-stack Java technologies.
Experience with Core Java (Java 11/OpenJDK).
Experience with Angular 8 and Spring Boot 2.x.
Experience with REST API integration.
Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE platform integration using REST APIs.
Experience with GitHub and Jenkins.
Experience developing across front-end, back-end, and database query layers.
Experience with relational databases.
Experience with integration planning and web services/APIs.
Knowledge and experience with Agile methodology.
Knowledge of Python and packages including pandas, numpy, scipy, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn.
Experience working across the MLOps lifecycle.
Proficiency with Git/GitHub, including code merges and resolving merge conflicts.
Awareness of Docker/Kubernetes for application containerization.
Awareness of Jenkins/Tekton for pipeline creation.
Some expertise working with GCP, including GCS, BigQuery, and Dataflow.
Awareness of Terraform for infrastructure configuration through CI/CD pipelines.
Strong written, verbal communication, and collaboration skills.
Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
Experience with GCP.
Experience with Splunk and Dynatrace.
Experience working in a cross-functional global team environment.
Demonstrated ability to deliver product roadmap milestones.
Master's degree.
HackerRank coding test experience.
Knowledge of Product Management.
