Job Overview
We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Data Scientist / Data Visualization Analyst to transform complex data into meaningful insights and clear visualizations that support business decision-making. The successful candidate will analyze datasets, identify trends and patterns, develop dashboards and reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret structured and unstructured data.
Develop dashboards, reports, and interactive data visualizations.
Identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities through data analysis.
Create charts, graphs, and other visual representations of complex datasets.
Work with business teams to understand analytical requirements and objectives.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
Assist with statistical analysis and predictive modeling when required.
Develop and maintain data dashboards using visualization tools.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality.
Translate complex analytical findings into clear and actionable business insights.
Support data-driven decision-making across different departments.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, developers, and business teams.
Document analytical processes, methodologies, and results.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred.
0–3 years of experience in data analysis, data science, business intelligence, or data visualization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, R, or similar analytical tools.
Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Understanding of basic statistics and data analysis concepts.
Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building interactive dashboards and data visualization reports.
Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics concepts.
Knowledge of databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
Experience working with large datasets.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms is a plus.
Strong portfolio of academic, personal, or professional data projects.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
