About the role

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Data Scientist (AI/ML) to join their innovative team. As a Data Scientist (AI/ML), you will be part of the manufacturing support group, collaborating closely with teams dedicated to propulsions, software interfaces, production lines, and product quality management.

Job Title: Data Scientist (AI/ML)

Location: Austin, TX

Pay Range: $66 per hou on W2

What's the Job?

Translate manufacturing and business challenges into measurable analytical questions and use cases.

Access, assess, and build reliable datasets from MES, quality systems, equipment historians, and other manufacturing sources.

Develop and validate predictive and prescriptive models for applications such as downtime reduction, defect detection, and preventive maintenance.

Create dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Support manufacturing modernization initiatives, including cloud migration, automation, and legacy system retirement.

What's Needed?

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in data modeling, data pipelines, and data analytics.

Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, and Databricks for building analytical datasets and pipelines.

Strong ability to analyze messy data, perform statistical studies, and develop actionable insights.

Experience in developing, validating, and monitoring machine learning models in a manufacturing environment.

Legally eligible to work in the United States; no immigration sponsorship will be provided.
