Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

NYC / SF - $180k - $350k + bonuses in the $100k-$150k range + early stage

Early team, confidential for now, backed by serious institutional capital and founded by people who helped build a key Palantir practice from 5 people to 600+.

Forward Deployed Engineer, but with a broader mandate. You won't just be deploying technology into a client environment, you'll help decide what should be built and how the business needs to change for it to matter. You'll write code, design systems, and ship real technology, while also studying how a business actually works and turning ambiguous problems into deployed systems that create measurable impact.

What you'll do:

Build and deploy software, AI systems, data workflows, and automations that solve real business problems

Partner directly with executives, operators, and frontline users to understand how companies actually work

Turn ambiguous business problems into technical systems with measurable impact

Help shape the transformation roadmap, what gets built, what gets scaled, and what needs to change

Own outcomes end to end, from discovery through deployment and adoption

What we're looking for:

3+ years of relevant post college experience

Strong CS or software engineering background, proficient in Python, TypeScript, or similar

Real curiosity about applying data, software, and AI to real business problems

Strong user empathy and the ability to earn trust with executives, operators, and engineers alike

AI native working style, using AI tools daily to build, analyze, and move fast

Willingness to travel 30 to 40 percent of the time to partner sites
