Role Description The Sr. Artificial Intelligence Engineer is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions that optimize manufacturing processes and improve operational KPIs. Day-to-day work includes building and training machine learning and deep learning models, implementing pattern recognition and neural network architectures, and integrating AI components into production-grade software systems. The role involves collaborating with manufacturing experts and digital transformation leaders to understand requirements, translate them into technical designs, and validate solutions through experimentation and performance analysis. The engineer will also maintain and enhance existing AI models, ensure code quality and scalability, and document methods and results for technical and non-technical stakeholders. Continuous learning and evaluation of emerging AI technologies relevant to manufacturing are expected.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.

Hands-on experience with Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks for real-world predictive and optimization tasks.

Proficiency in Software Development, ideally in languages such as Python, C++, or Java, and experience with modern development practices and tooling.

Practical expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including model training, evaluation, and deployment for text-based data.

Experience building and deploying machine learning and deep learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar tools.

Familiarity with data engineering, model lifecycle management, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly beneficial.

Background in or exposure to manufacturing, industrial automation, or operations analytics is a plus.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Ability to collaborate effectively in remote, cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and work independently with minimal supervision.
