Must-Haves:

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field

7+ years of experience in Applied Machine Learning or AI Infrastructure

3+ years in a Senior, Staff, Principal, or equivalent Technical Leadership role

Extensive experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), including design, training, and methodologies

Experience developing, implementing, or evaluating AI safety interventions for LLMs

Strong expertise in scalable systems architecture and AI/ML infrastructure

Experience building defenses against jailbreaks, prompt injection, toxic outputs, and policy violations

Technical leadership experience driving architecture and engineering strategy

Plusses:

Experience working with foundation models in production environments

Background in AI governance, compliance, and responsible AI practices

Experience designing model evaluation frameworks and safety benchmarks

Enterprise-scale AI security experience

Experience within networking, cybersecurity, or infrastructure-focused organizations

Day-to-Day:

Lead technical strategy and architecture for AI model safety and security systems

Design and develop protections against jailbreaks, prompt injection, toxic outputs, and policy violations

Build scalable infrastructure to ensure safe and responsible AI deployment

Drive architectural decisions across AI safety platforms and services

Develop and integrate model evaluation workflows and testing frameworks

Create tools and models that identify and prevent harmful or non-compliant AI behavior

Partner with cross-functional engineering and product teams to implement AI safety initiatives

Establish best practices and technical direction for foundation model security
