Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) - AI
Location: Columbus Ohio
Type: Contract
We are hiring Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) to work directly with a Fortune 500 regulated utility client, solving real-world integration, automation, and operational challenges.
Key Skills
7+ years of Software / Integration Engineering experience
Strong hands-on development with Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar
Experience with APIs, middleware, Kafka/event streaming, message queues, and data pipelines
Experience integrating SCADA, AMI, OMS, SAP/ERP, CRM, or Billing systems
Strong client-facing communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with ambiguous requirements and rapidly deliver production solutions
Experience with Azure/AWS, SAP PI/PO, or AI/ML is a plus
Utilities/Energy or regulated-industry experience preferred
