AI Copilot Studio Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking an AI Copilot Studio Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and the Microsoft Azure AI ecosystem. This individual will build intelligent copilots and AI agents that automate business processes, integrate with enterprise applications, and improve operational efficiency across the organization.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Azure AI Services, and enterprise integrations. Experience developing AI solutions using large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and Microsoft Graph is highly desired.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy AI copilots and autonomous agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio.

Develop conversational AI experiences that automate business workflows and improve employee productivity.

Build integrations with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, Teams, Dynamics 365, SQL Server, REST APIs, and third-party applications.

Configure and optimize Power Automate workflows to support AI-driven business processes.

Develop connectors and APIs to allow copilots to interact with enterprise systems.

Leverage Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, and Microsoft Graph to enhance AI capabilities.

Design Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using SharePoint, OneDrive, and other enterprise knowledge sources.

Create prompt engineering strategies to improve AI accuracy and user experience.

Implement security, governance, authentication, and compliance best practices.

Monitor AI agent performance and continuously optimize responses, workflows, and integrations.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and identify automation opportunities.

Document architecture, technical designs, and deployment procedures.

Stay current on Microsoft AI technologies, Copilot Studio enhancements, and emerging AI trends.

Required Qualifications

3+ years developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform.

2+ years working with Microsoft Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents).

Experience building AI agents and conversational applications.

Experience integrating with SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Outlook, Dynamics 365, SQL Server, and REST APIs.

Experience with prompt engineering and large language models (LLMs).

Understanding of authentication methods including OAuth, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and API security.

Knowledge of JSON, HTTP, REST APIs, and web services.

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Azure Functions or Logic Apps.

Experience developing custom connectors.

Knowledge of Python, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.

Experience with AI governance and responsible AI practices.

Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Dataverse, or Azure Machine Learning.

Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AI Engineer, or Copilot Studio certifications.
