Job Description:

This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.

Enterprise Risk Finance Technology’s ‘Global Funding Investment and Insurance Technology (GFIIT)’ team is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong Java expertise to join our team and work on developing applications that support the Corporate Treasury and CIO business goals. The successful candidate will work on designing, building and maintaining high-priority, highly available applications for our business partners. The role will involve partnering with key stakeholders, teammates

and technology management throughout the software delivery lifecycle to meet business requirements. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the full technology stack, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements

Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements

Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities

Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements

Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle

Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause

Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of experience Python experience

5+ years of experience working with Capital Markets Quant.

Experience delivering solutions for Capital Markets.

Experience working in an agile software development team.

Build and support remote risk infrastructure for multiple asset classes traded by Global Funding/CIO, including Bonds, Interest Rate Swaps, Repos, and FX products, ensuring accurate risk and P&L calculations.

Develop Quartz risk calculators and reporting capabilities, improving valuation accuracy, hedge accounting processes, funding analytics, and market risk reporting across Treasury and CIO portfolios.

Creative, quick-thinking and an aptitude for solving problems with technology.

Extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns.

Knowledge or various financial instruments Bonds, Interest rate swaps, Repo and FX products.

Understanding of generation of risk and P/L for above set of instruments.

Design and development experience in modern technologies such as API management, REST/API integration, Containers, Micro services.

Experience in Web UI (Angular, Spring) and CI/CD tools

Ability to work both independently and within a high functioning team environment.
