Position: Software Engineer, New Grad

Type: Full-time

Compensation: $180K - $250K/yr

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and development of end-to-end fullstack systems powering critical internal workflows and platform capabilities.

Build clean, maintainable backend services and APIs while learning scalable engineering best practices.

Develop high-quality frontend interfaces used by internal teams and end users.

Participate in data modeling and database optimization efforts, including schema design and query performance.

Collaborate with product, operations, and design teams to translate ideas into reliable, production-ready features.

Improve engineering quality through code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Help troubleshoot production issues while learning how to build resilient, observable systems.

Develop sound engineering judgment by making thoughtful tradeoffs between speed, scalability, and maintainability.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Internship, co-op, research, or meaningful personal/project experience building software applications.

Strong fundamentals in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

Familiarity with frontend development using React or similar frameworks.

Familiarity with backend development using Node.js (NestJS is a plus).

Understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and core data modeling principles.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and how distributed applications communicate.

Exposure to Git and modern software development workflows.

Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, attention to detail, and a growth mindset.
