We are now hiring a System Software Engineer for the UEFI Firmware team! You will be heavily involved with the early modeling and simulation required to produce our world-class products, and will follow the project all the way through the development process to deployment in gaming consoles, servers, and AI devices that are used throughout the world.

What You'll Be Doing

Features/code development for UEFI firmware

Document code flow, data flow, and architecture for UEFI Firmware

Debug and root cause UEFI Firmware issues thru creative thinking

Support simulation and FPGA environment bringup for UEFI Firmware

Drive and resolve issues independently across teams and disciplines

Plan and execute pre and post silicon verification of UEFI firmware

Develop test frameworks and tests to verify UEFI and ARM SBSA/SBBR requirements

Multiple opportunities to collaborate and communicate effectively with teams from all around the globe

What We Need To See

BS or MS degree in EE/CS/CE or equivalent experience

2+ years of experience in low-level operating system functionality, specifically in areas of ARM technologies and programming is invaluable

Superb C programming and debugging skills

Excellent Interpersonal Skills

Experience with UEFI, ACPI, SMBIOS, Linux kernel are preferred

Working experience in system software, operating system internals, kernel modules, and device drivers

Experience working with AI development tools

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 124,000 USD - 195,500 USD for Level 2, and 152,000 USD - 241,500 USD for Level 3.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
