Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Software Engineer. This role is Remote. Summary: We are seeking experienced Software Engineers to support enterprise vulnerability remediation and API/security governance initiatives. These roles will focus on modernizing and securing applications, addressing vulnerabilities, developing and supporting APIs, and working within a modern microservices and containerized environment. Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, and .NET Core

Develop and support REST APIs and API-based integrations

Contribute to vulnerability remediation and application security initiatives

Design and develop solutions using microservices architecture

Build and support applications deployed in Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift environments

Work with Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, Visual Studio, and GitHub

Develop and maintain front-end functionality using JavaScript and React

Work with Apache Kafka and MuleSoft for messaging and integration needs

Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Splunk

Collaborate with development, security, infrastructure, and architecture teams to resolve technical and security issues

Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, testing, and production support activities

Requirements

7+ years of professional software development experience

Strong experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core

Experience with OpenShift or comparable container orchestration platforms

Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio

Experience with Apache Kafka

Experience with MuleSoft

Experience with Microsoft Visual Basic

Experience with Splunk for infrastructure/application monitoring

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
