About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Specialist, Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team in Washington, D.C. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions that are critical to national security missions. As part of our team, you will work alongside top-tier security researchers and product engineers, tackling the most challenging cybersecurity problems in demanding environments. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that connect space, air, land, sea, and cyber domains, ensuring the safety and security of our nation.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree with a minimum of six years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with at least four years of experience. Alternatively, candidates with a minimum of ten years of related experience without a degree will also be considered. The candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. Proven experience in full-stack development, strong problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of secure coding practices are essential.

Responsibilities

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Collaborate with cross-functional, globally distributed Agile teams, engaging with product managers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project success.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues across various layers of the technology stack.

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including unit, integration, and system testing, to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend services, APIs, and user interfaces using modern technologies such as C# .NET, Python, and Angular.

Optimize database schemas, queries, and data migration processes within PostgreSQL environments.

Engage in continuous research and development to innovate new features and improve existing systems, aligning with industry standards and cybersecurity protocols.

Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and the implementation of CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes.

Prepare technical documentation and user manuals to facilitate system understanding and maintenance.

Maintain compliance with security standards and protocols, ensuring all software solutions are secure and resilient against threats.
