Our partner is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer; you'll work with modern technologies to develop intelligence analysis products that address complex mission challenges and directly support agency users. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving challenging technical problems, working with modern architectures, and contributing across the full software development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Python and React.js

Build high-performance front-end applications using React.js

Develop enterprise applications and services using Python

Design and integrate RESTful APIs and web services

Contribute to microservice architecture and development

Work with relational, spatial, and NoSQL databases

Design and develop database solutions for enterprise applications

Work within AWS cloud environments, including S3

Translate mission and business requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions

Participate throughout the SDLC, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance

Collaborate with engineers, technical teams, and mission stakeholders

Contribute to modern software development practices and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related technical field

4+ years of professional software engineering/development experience

Enterprise application development experience with Python

Strong experience developing applications with React.js

Foundational knowledge of Node.js

Experience designing and developing web services and APIs

Experience with relational database design
